Medical Training of the Palm Beaches
Cancellation and Transfer Policy
This policy applies to every program offered by Medical Training of the Palm Beaches ("MTPB"). Please read it carefully before submitting payment. By enrolling and paying, you accept the terms below.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. MTPB does not issue refunds for any program, for any reason. If you cannot attend your scheduled class, you may transfer your funds to a future class provided you notify us before your class begins.
1. No Refunds
All deposits, registration fees, tuition payments, and course fees are non-refundable.
All state and national testing fees are non-refundable.
This applies whether you complete the program, withdraw, stop attending, or never attend at all.
Partial refunds and prorated refunds are not issued under any circumstances.
2. Class Transfers
If you are unable to attend the class you registered for, MTPB will move you to a different session and apply your funds toward the new class.
You must notify MTPB before your original class begins. Notice given after the class start date will not be accepted.
Notice must be given by phone or email to the contact information listed below. We recommend email so that you have a record of the date and time.
One courtesy transfer is permitted per enrollment. Additional transfer requests are granted at MTPB's discretion and may require a re-registration fee.
Transfers are subject to seat availability in the requested class.
Transferred funds must be applied to a class that begins within [6] months of your original class start date. Funds not used within that period are forfeited.
If the new class costs more than the original, you are responsible for the difference. If it costs less, the difference is not refunded and does not carry forward.
3. No-Shows and Withdrawals
If you do not attend your scheduled class and did not notify MTPB before the class start date, you forfeit all funds paid and are not eligible for a transfer. Withdrawing after a class has begun does not entitle you to a refund, a transfer, or a credit.
4. Dismissal from a Program
Students dismissed for violating MTPB's Student Policies, including disruptive or disrespectful behavior, unauthorized recording, or dress code violations, are removed from all MTPB programs with no refund of any funds paid.
5. Eligibility to Test or Certify
It is your responsibility to confirm your eligibility to test and become certified with the Florida Department of Health before enrolling, including any effect from prior arrests or convictions. All fees are non-refundable if you are found ineligible to test or be certified by the State of Florida.
6. Classes Cancelled or Rescheduled by MTPB
If MTPB cancels or reschedules a class for any reason, including low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or weather, you may choose to:
Transfer to the next available session at no additional cost, or
Receive a full refund of amounts paid for that class.
This is the only circumstance in which MTPB issues a refund. Testing fees already submitted to a third party, such as Prometric, are governed by that party's refund policy and are outside MTPB's control.
7. Payment Disputes
By enrolling, you agree that filing a chargeback or payment dispute does not void this policy. MTPB will respond to any dispute by providing this signed policy as evidence of the terms you accepted.
