Student Privacy Notice and Consent

Medical Training of the Palm Beaches ("MTPB," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and when we share it. Please read it and sign below before beginning your program.

1. Information We Collect

Identity and contact information: name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, government-issued ID, and Social Security number where required for testing or licensure.

Enrollment and academic records: application materials, attendance, clinical hours, skills evaluations, exam results, and certificates issued.

Health and screening information: immunization records, TB test results, physical exam clearance, and background check or drug screening results, where required for clinical placement.

Payment information: amounts paid, payment method, and billing details. Card and bank data is processed by our third-party payment processor and is not stored by MTPB.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to enroll you, deliver instruction, track attendance and progress, register you for state and Prometric examinations, arrange clinical placements, process payments, issue certificates, comply with state and federal law, and communicate with you about your program.

3. When We Share Your Information

We share only what is necessary, and only with:

Prometric and the Florida Board of Nursing / Department of Health, for exam registration, eligibility, and certification.

Clinical partner facilities, for placement, credentialing, and site requirements.

Background check, drug screening, and immunization verification vendors, where required.

Service providers who support our operations (scheduling, payment processing, learning platforms, accounting) under obligations to protect your information.

Employers or third parties you authorize in writing.

Government agencies, auditors, or courts, when required by law or valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

4. Communications Consent

By providing your phone number and email, you consent to receive calls, texts, and emails from MTPB about your enrollment, schedule, exams, and account. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP or contacting us; we will still send messages necessary to administer your program.

5. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your information. We retain student records for the period required by Florida law and applicable accrediting or regulatory bodies, and dispose of records securely afterward.

6. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your student record, request correction of inaccurate information, or ask questions about how your information is used by contacting us at the address below. We may verify your identity before responding.
